About Us

Children's Aid Society provides specialized, professional, family-focused social services to abused, neglected and delinquent children and youth within and outside of the context of their families. Since its founding in 1885 as a foster placement and adoption agency, CAS has been an outstanding social service agency serving Berks, Bucks Delaware, Montgomery and Philadelphia counties, with headquarters in Norristown and additional offices in Lansdale, North Philadelphia, Logan/Olney and Frankford.

Today, CAS operates 30 plus programs within southeastern Pennsylvania with a specialized and highly professional staff. CAS provides adolescent group homes, adoption, after school programs, parenting services, services to children in their own homes, summer camps, truancy prevention programs, and a variety of school based and family support programs.

Our greatest need is to find and train outstanding families as foster care/resource families for children who are hurting.
